1. Our school students had participated in the Sports competitions which was conducted by"SPORTS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF TAMILNADU, PERAMBALUR" on 26.7.2009 at Govt Boys Hr.Sec.School,Perambalur

Our school students won the prize in the following categories:
 
M.Suganya - XI - III Prize in Short Put
B.Sreereka - XI - Winner: Handball

2. On 26.7.2009 our school students participated in the Illakkiya Literary oratorical Competition. They won the prizes in the following categories:

A.Gajapriya - VI - A won the 1st prize in Speech competition
T.Tamizhkanthan - XII - B won the III prize in Speech Competition
