SNA (Student Nurses Association)     
 unit was started at Danlakshmi srinivasan college of nursing  in 2008 and all the students become active member of the Unit. Miss. Amudhavalli is SNA advisor.  The SNA elections were held and selected . Ms. Santhiya B.sc (N) III year as secretary, Ms. Kavitha B.sc (N) III year as vice president,  Ms. Tamil Elakiya B.sc (N) III year as treasurer .Other committee    leaders also have selected.

  June-08 Fund raising programme To increase the SNA fund for the benefit of SNA unit we have organized the fund raising programme. In which students have prepared variety of foods. Snacks and juices.
  August -08 Breast –feeding week celebration. In pudhunaduvalur we have celebrated breast feeding week
  September -08 Teachers day Teachers days was celebrated on September 5th 2008. Games were conducted and all the faculty were honored by the management.  
  October -08 Fresher”s day Fresher s  day was celebrated in which all the freshers
are welcomed by the seniors and cultural programme were conducted by the student.
 
  December-08 International AIDS day Rally was conducted on international AIDS day from Government Hospital to collector office via bus  stand

 Our institutions have organized woman’s day celebration  in which Mrs. Thilagavathy I.P.S ,     Ms. Vanitha  I.P.S were honored as the chief guest and they have special address on legislation  and women  empowerment. our students have participated  in various cultural program.
