The Annual Sports Day 2011 was celebrated in grand manner on 08.04.2011 Friday. The Annual Sports day – 2011 celebration was held at the Playground of the college. In the morning 9.00 a.m. the Annual Sports day was inaugurated by Shri. A. Srinivasan, Founder-Chairman of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Educational Institutions.  He hoisted the National flag and viewed the excellent march past displayed by students of both the gender  Dr.B.Karthikeyan, Principal, welcomed  the gathering .Thiru.Neelraj, Secretary, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Group of educational Institutions Dr.S. Thayumanavan, Advisor, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Group of educational Institutions, Dr.S.Charles, Principal, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College and Prof. Seker, Dean, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College were present for the Sports day celebration.

              Dr.K.Vaithianathan, Vice Chancellor, Tamilnadu Physical education and Sports University was the Chief Guest of the function. He shared his delight on the infrastructural facilities in the college premises and also motivated the sports person for their level of involvement they showed on the sports events.

 
             At the end of the Sports and Games prizes were distributed to all winners of the event and the overall champion was announced.The Programme organizers were Prof.Senthil, Vice Principal, and Srinivasan Engineering College and Dr. Arokia dos, HOD, Mechanical Department and Srinivasan Engineering College. Physical directors R.Vengatesan, T.Dinesh Kumar and M.Saravanan arranged the sports events in an exceptional way.
