The most versatile,challenging , exciting and broadest of all engineering disciplines deals with the design and production of tools , machines and all other mechanical equipments to be used in industries. Mechanical Engineering is concerned with all types of machinery, their mechanism and function.Our richly integrated curriculum of theory and practice aims to develop engineers with creativity and overall ability so that they can lead the world with their own capacity. Students travel through a balance of intellectual and practical experiences in this 4 year under graduate engineering discipline that enables them to address a variety of societal needs. The objective of the programme is to cultivate engineers who, with ethics for engineers as their base ,have the ability to investigate overall phenomena including global and social environment issues and to creatively design and produce.

Our program will provide the essential knowledge and flexibility to the future mechanical engineers who indeed will play a leading role in the creation of the technology of the twenty first century. Our laboratories are equipped with the needed equipments to provide the students with a hands-on-experience.

Association of Mechanical Department

The Mechanical Engineering Association (MECHX) has been involving various activities and also provides training in various fields. Our department association has arranged many industrial visits for Students and also guides them to make the industrial projects.
The association arranges various technical forums and core industrial interactions. Alongside these activities, the students have formed various study groups specializing on a particular topic of contemporary technological relevance and facilitate information and idea exchange through seminars within the department. All the students are the members of this association. Organizing guest lectures, Quizzing, and Seminars under this association has led the students to understand the realities of the world. Our department faculty and students are members of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). We have MoU with various Industries.
