CITIZENSHIP TRAINING CAMP

INAUGURAL FUNCTION - 06.01.2010

          The citizenship training camp commenced on 6.1.2010, Wednesday at Government Higher Secondary School, Ammapalayam . The inaugural function started sharp at 9’o clock.
The principal welcomed the gathering. The founder –chairman delivered the presidential address.

           The chief educational officer Mr.C.chakrapani,MSc..,M.Ed Perambalur district delivered a  special key note address, Mrs.Chitra Ayyakannu ,Panchayathu President, Ammapalayam ,Mr.V.Kamaraj,  vice –President,Ammapalayam Panchayat, Mr.K.Periyasami councelor,Ammapalayam, Mr.C.Rathnagiri-MSc..,M.Ed..,M.Phil  Head Master Government Higher Secondary School,Ammapalayam offered their,felicitation.The students representative delivered the vote of thanks.

           The students ventured into many activities, they cleaned the temples school and the entire village on the first day.

             A medical camp was conducted in the village of Ammapalayam for the villagers Dr.T.S.Sreenivasan,Dr.S.Banumathi ,Dr.Sivaranjani, doctors, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Hospital, examined the people and gave medicines at free of cost.some people who were in need of intensified medication were asked to report to Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Hospital.

            The second session of the day commenced with a lecture on “Fire Protection and First Aid” by Mr.D.Subburaj, B.A,B.Ed..,A.Dip (NFSC)circle officer, Department of Fire Service ,Perambalur.

            The day ended with the culturals given by the students.

         The third day of the camp commenced with the active, demonstration and Counselling session by Mr. K. Selvaraj District Secretary, Indian Scouts and guides and Mrs. S. Dhanalakshmi on the Role of Scouts and guides in Social Service.
    
            The second session was chaired by Ms. J. Dhanalakshmi and Mr. S.Lakshmi Devi, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Nursing College. They gave a lecture and demonstration on "Safety and First Aid"   .

           The third session headed by Mr. S. Ganesan, Correspondant Annai Parvadhama Matriculation Hr. Sec.School. He gave a special lecture on the topic "The Role of  Yoga in Mental Health".

           The fourth day session started with the vertinary medical campaign headed by  Dr. Sharmila. The Valedictory function held at 4'O clock . Mrs. V. Vanitha, IPS., Superintendant of Police, Perambalur. presided over the function.

           The function came to an end with the vote of thanks rendered by the Principal.
