        The department of computer engineering was started in the year 1998. Computer Engineering is a dynamic, Career – enhancing field where advanced changes step in frequently. To upgrade the students with these advanced technologies, a variety of latest trends are updated in our computer lab. The elective subjects are chosen for the student to get trained in software and hardware line so that they can get placed in any of them.

        DSPC has 4 modern computer labs with 2 Intel & HP hi-end servers and 245 operational nodes of Intel and HP Compaq, which are designed with structured cabling in tune with the cyber age revolution. The center provides 24 hours internet facility through broadband at 8Mbps offered by BSNL Network. A slew of latest software’s and packages to equip the students to meet out the challenges in this vibrant and constantly changing field is one of the advantages of this department.

        Our softwares include operating system such as MS-DOS 6.22, Windows 98, Windows2000, Windows XP Professional, RED HAT LINUX 7.2 besides various other packages such as MSoffice2000, Visual studio 6.0, Oracle 9i, Macromedia suite, Adobe creative suite, various Microsoft products and programming languages that include turbo C++, ALP (MASM), JAVA etc.
