‘With great power comes great responsibility’ Computer Science is one of the fastest growing fields. It has occupied all kinds of business fields. Computer Science & Engineering was primarily the study of computerized systems and their applications for industries and various business fields. Today however, computers have become an integral part of nearly every household and an indispensable part of every successful business. The curriculum of this engineering discipline is designed to meet the needs of the industries in all areas where computing/processing power is required. The Department offers curriculum based on the application and theoretical foundations of Computer Science. The Department aims to impart high quality computer education and training through its art of computing facilities.

The Department is equipped with four computer labs with IBM & HP proliant servers and 180 intel core 2 DUO Processor operational nodes of IBM and HP Computer which are designed with structure cabling. The computer center provides 24 hours internet connectivity through broadband at 8 Mbps(1:1) offered by BSNL. A slew of latest licensed software to equip the students to meet the challenges is made available in the Department. To ensure a protective usage of the internet facility by the student, Firewall hardware has been installed.

  • To provide the student educational and vocational guidance for the development in technical field.
  • To development the skills of perception, concept formation, attention memory and problem solving among the students for their research and developmental activity.

  • As the technology is going to stay forever, there will be an endless employment opportunity for the students under computer science stream.
  • Most of the students under CSE are placed under Caritor India, i-flex solutions, Pentasoft technologies and cognizant technology solutions etc….who are exporting software products to the clients day by day and also in some famous BPO’s like Sutherland global services.
  • Industries prefer Computer Science Engineers most, who are the pure software programmers as well as software creators.
