Diploma in Civil Engineering

        Civil engineering department is the basic and very essential one for all fields. A country’s socioeconomic development mainly depends on the infrastructure facilities like Building, Roads, Railway network, water supply, Effective drainage, Irrigation and Water resource management etc., Civil engineering field covers all these parameters.

Having the objective to enrich the human resource pool in the Civil engineering field, this department is started during the year 2003 onwards in our polytechnic college.

The following elective subjects are chosen for the benefit of the students.
        Soil mechanics and foundation engineering
        Advanced construction technology
        Advanced reinforced concrete structures
        Town planning
        Irrigation engineering

The Laboratory Includes
        Surveying Lab,
        Material Testing Lab,
        Construction Lab Practice,
        Environmental Engineering Lab,
        CAD in Civil Engineering Lab,
        Computer Application Lab,
        Hydraulics Lab.

    Our students attained cent percent results in all subjects. Finally we are preparing the students not only best in their academic pursuit but also employable in any of the civil engineering fields.
