Alumni Association
Origin
Dhanalakhsmi Srinivasan Engineering College Alumni Association (DSECAA) was founded on 03.08.2006 with 180 Alumni. It has been earnestly engaged in exchange of ideas, spreading of knowledge, stimulation of thinking and promotion of excellence. This association was registered at Perambalur District registration office, with registration number 69 /2006 dated 03.08.2006.
Objectives
- To get feedback from Alumnae and improve curriculum, training and other facilities.
- To provide placement opportunities for students.
- To provide opportunities for getting in plant training and industrial visit for the students.
- To sign MOU with industries for effective Industry-Institution Interaction.
- To update the students knowledge by organizing seminars on recent topics.
- To encourage continuing education.
Membership
The membership of DSECAA shall be restricted to those graduating from DSEC, and other research students.
Headquarters and Local Chapters
The Headquarters of DSECAA shall be at Perambalur. Currently we have two chapters at Bangalore and Chennai respectively.
We plan to setup five local chapters including one at Kerala and Andhra Pradesh respectively in the immediate future.
