Aeronautics

When you look up to the sky, have you ever thought of a career that is beyond the conventional? One that will enable you to reach for the sky. Think no further, it is aeronautical engineering.

Aeronautical Engineering is one of the most challenging fields of engineering with a wide scope for growth. This is the field of aviation, space exploration which has defence systems. As this engineering involves design and manufacture of very high technology systems, the job requires manual, technical as well as mechanical aptitudes. Our curriculum encompasses all the requirements of the field and trains students to meet the future challenges in this area. Aircraft manufacturing units, air turbine production plants or design development programmes for the aviation industry apart from taking up Research & Development areas in Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Civil Aviation etc.

Objectives
  • To impart education through dedication in the field of Aeronautical Engineering.
  • To empower the aspirants with latest technologies in the field.
  • To infuse human values so as to uplift the downtrodden.
Scope For Employment
  • The Aeronautical Engineering students find diversified employment opportunities in field such as Maintenance, Research and Defense.
  • In the field of Maintenance they can be placed in HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited). HAL encompasses various divisions like Engine Division, Aircraft Overhaul Division, Helicopter Division, Industrial and Marine Gas Turbine Division, Aerospace Division and Foundry and Forge Division.
  • The Aeronautical engineers find great opportunities in Research labs and as DRDO, CABS, GTRE, NAL, ADA, ADE, DARE, CVRDE, CEMILAC, & DRDL.
  • On the Defense side, Aeronautical students can become an Indian Airforce Officer either in a short service commission or in a permanent commission.
